Welcome Message from Ambassador

Dear Viewers,

Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to France and Permanent Delegation of Bangladesh to UNESCO.

As the bilateral Embassy accredited to France, we are working closely with the host government and society to promote all aspects of our relations with France, including but not limited to promoting exchange of visits and interactions at high political levels; facilitating travel, trade, investment, cultural exchange, and people-to-people contact between our two countries;  providing consular services to visitors and businessmen from France as well as our nationals living in France; and projecting a positive image of Bangladesh in this country.

As the Permanent Delegation to UNESCO, we engage with this important UN Agency to contribute to its norm-setting works related to universal quality education, promotion of multiculturalism and multilingualism, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, and the use of scientific knowledge to fight climate change and preserve bio-diversity. UNESCO also serves as an important global platform for the promotion of Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage.

In addition, this Embassy is concurrently accredited to Cameroon and Cote d’Ivoire and we strive to strengthen bilateral cooperation of Bangladesh with these countries.

The purpose of this website is to inform you of our availability to respond to your needs. We do not consider you as service seekers but we see you as important partners and stakeholders in our common effort to further improve our bilateral and multilateral engagements.

I thank you for visiting our website and would appreciate receiving your valuable suggestions to improve our website.
